Modern Obsession - Andrea Deal **
** Award Winner - 3rd Place Traditional Machine Quilted ** This quilt was created using Tia Pink's City Sampler: 100 Modern Quilt Blocks" as a guide. Until I saw this book, I never really had any interest in making a sampler quilt. All of a sudden, I just had to make one and it was so much fun. The blocks are fairly simple so I was able to focus onthe fabrics and fussy cutting. I came up with my own layout and the design for quilting. The "blocks" quilted in the negative space are a few of the blocks fromthe book that I didn't get around to piecing. |
