Service Report: 2006 - 2007

The 2006–2007 Charity Work Day was March 10, 2007. What a busy and fun day! We made over 100 quilts! Thank you to all the participants, and special thanks to The City Quilter for donating the batting for all of the quilts that were put together. Here are a few pictures of some of our many enthusiastic participants.

Thank you to our busy guild members

Thank you to the following individuals for their generous — and beautiful! — efforts throughout the 2006–2007 Empire Quilters season:

We had enormous participation on our annual Charity Day (March 10, 2007). Quilts and tops were donated by Marge Geary, Dorothy Petras, Barbara Hull, Veronique Milliez, Leila Leiberman, Michael Greenberg, Betty Chen, Lorna Spence-Ellis, Sylvia Hughes, Susan Knaster, Evelyn Berkowitz, Diane Paul, Anna Sinisyna, Mary Jane Van Loon, Carmen Calbeiro, Winifred Sanders, Rita Reid, Lee Ebbs, Eve Lee, Ann Townley, Janice Comerford, Janice Johnson, Margaret Umansky, Freida Hoyett, Jane Broaddus, Wendi Higginbotham, Paula Kenny, Kitty Squire, Marian Webber, and Beth Pile.

Fabric Donations came from Nancy Castel, Anna Faustino, Lisette Zichinsky, Marie Clarice Foss, Veronique Milliez, Catherine Bancroft, Felicia Ingram, Agneta Noe, Diane Rode Schneck, Kate Iscal, Dorothy Arkell, Lee Ebbs, Cheryl Cadet, Wendi Higginbotham, Ulla McCarthy, Sylvia Zeveloff, and Lois Sautter.

Baby hats were made by Anna Calbeiro, and many people not named here kept their scissors and needles flying to get the quilts assembled and finished.

The City Quilter once again donated the batting for our project. We are grateful for their continued support of our guild's service activities.
