About Traditional / Pieced Quilts: The quilts in this category are largely based on traditional patterns, and are predominantly pieced (as opposed to appliquéd). The quilts could be pieced and quilted by machine, or by hand, or using a combination of machine and hand. Guild members were not required to have their quilts considered for a ribbon or award (judged).
