- Cut 1 strip 1½" x 6½" of a green fabric
- Cut 1 strip 1½" x 3½" of the rose fabric

Instructions:
- Sew one strip of the 1½" cream to the 1½" rose strip.
Cross cut thes at 1½". This should give you eight 1½" by 2½" pieces of rose and cream.
Sew these pieces together to form four 2½" squares.
- Do the same with the cream and green strips to make four 2½" squares.
- Then do the same with the smaller rose and green strips to make one 2½" square.
- Take the two 2-7/8" blue squares and match them with the two 2-7/8" cream squares.
Draw a diagonal line on the lighter square. Sew ¼" on each side of the line. Cut in half on the line. This should give 4 half-square triangles of blue and cream.
- Layout the squares using the illustration as your guide, and sew together to make the 6½" unfinished block.
