Special Event — Quilt Show Information: We will be distributing information packets for the 2009 Urban Inspirations Quilt Show at the meeting. Members should make a specal effort to attend this meeting to pick up their quilt show entry forms.

Featured Quilt: The quilt pictured above —Great White Way, Broadway — was made by guild member Beth Pile, and won a Blue Ribbon at the Eastern Long Island Quilt Guild's recent Peconic Quilt Show. Congratulations, Beth!

Quilting UFOs. Industry expert Helen Squire will conduct a full day workshop on how to approach the quilting on our own personal projects. She will talk about the many different types of quilting patterns and techniques, and will teach us how to choose and implement appropriate quilting for various types of projects. This is a unique opportunity to spend the day learning from this knowledgeable, experienced, and entertaining expert.
